Summer time

Things have been really busy lately. Kyra and I are enjoying the warmer weather. It's been a nice break from the rain. We spend our days playing outside in the park, going on bike rides, and going on picnics. I have enjoyed my break from school. However, as a grad student there really isn't a break. I have a lot to do to prepare for this fall. Anyway, life is good.

This week Kyra started to walk. She has perfected the zombie walk as she does so with her arms out. I now know why babies were designed to learn to walk when they are infants. I can't imagine learning to walk at an older age when we are much further away from the ground.

Krya gets bigger everyday and so does our love for her. She is so much fun!

Museum of the Rockies visit

Today Kyra and I went to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman with a friend of mine from school. It was a fun road trip. Kyra really liked the dinosaurs. We had a good time and I was glad to be able to introduce Kyra to history. Hopefully she will grow up and appreciate these amazing creatures as much as her daddy!

This is our picture from Valentine's Day. We went to a dinner and a dance put on by our church. It was the first time Kyra went into the nursery to be babysat (she only cried a little). I had to check up on her a few times to make sure she was ok. The couple at the dinner table (Veteran Parents) laughed at my paranoia. I explained that I am not worried about Kyra, but rather I am more worried about the babysitter. We had a great time. It was nice to eat dinner without Squiggie (Kyra) pulling on the tablecloth, digging through the garbage, and causing mass destruction. Overall I would rate this Valentine's Day a success (4 stars and two thumbs enthusiastically up) !

This is our grouchy face family photo. As you can see we are having a grouchy day :) and Kyra is the grouch queen. ;)
